Affiliate Disclosure
This site is free to read because of affiliate commissions. Here is exactly how that works, what it costs you, and what it does and does not change about what you read. The cruises themselves are compared on the Oahu whale watching tours catalog.
The short version
We may earn a commission if you book through one of our links, at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would pay by going to the booking platform directly.
We are not a tour operator or a travel agency. We do not sell tours, take payments or act as an agent for any operator or platform.
Who does what
Every cruise listed here is sold and operated by a third party. On this site that is currently three companies — Pink Sails Waikiki, Living Ocean Tours and Hawaii Nautical — selling through the Viator and GetYourGuide booking platforms. The operator, the platform and the product ID appear on each tour page so you can check the listing yourself.
The operator runs the cruise, the platform takes your payment and holds your booking, and both set the price, the inclusions and the cancellation terms. We have no authority to make commitments on their behalf and cannot change, refund or reschedule anything.
What the commission does not buy
Placement, ratings and wording are not for sale, and no operator has paid to appear here or to be described in a particular way.
The practical test is on the pages themselves. The cheapest cruise in the catalog is the one this site recommends to most visitors, and the most expensive listing carries the site's most critical section — a plain reading of its weakest reviews, including the duration complaints and the voucher fine print.
Ratings and reviews
Ratings and review counts are the platforms' own, read on the date shown on each page: 4.6 from 1,335 reviews, 4.8 from 118, 4.7 from 75 and 4.5 from 652 in August 2026. We do not calculate our own scores, and we quote critical reviews with the same attribution as the glowing ones.
Prices
Prices shown are starting prices at the time of the last check, stated on every tour page: $53, $54, $89 and $119 per person as read in August 2026. They move with season, date and currency. The price that counts is the one on the checkout page before you pay.
Our research process, including how season dates and sanctuary rules are verified, is set out in the editorial methodology.
